Chapter 3: Kidnapped!

KIDNAPPED!

One hour later Marty woke up. He was feeling refreshed. He drank some milk with chocolate. He then went down to eat some snacks. He had pancakes. They were very tasty, and were probably the fluffiest pancakes he ever had eaten.

Marty went up to the room and watched the movie ‘James and the Giant peach’ for fifteen minutes. Then, suddenly Aunt Agatha got a call from Lily. She said, “Drop Marty in front of the Buckingham Palace, we will go for a tour inside together”.

Uncle Jake offered to drop Marty to the Palace. While both of them were on their way, Uncle Jake got an urgent call from his office asking him to report immediately. Uncle Jake was a cop. He worked on the harbour and was known to be very sincere and good at patrolling. He had to rush to the police station because there was a kidnapper on the loose.

Uncle Jake and Marty hurried towards the Palace. Once Marty’s parents were in sight, Uncle Jake left for his work and asked Marty to walk towards his parents.

Marty waved to his parents and walked a few steps forward. Then he stopped by to watch a street juggler when suddenly someone muffed his mouth from behind and dragged him to a corner of the street. Marty struggled but he couldn’t free himself.

He realised he was being kidnapped!

There was a police officer nearby who realised that someone was kidnapping a little boy. He rushed behind Marty. He shouted “Catch him! It’s Zuri! Catch him!”

Marty had now understood that the man who had kidnapped him was Zuri and probably very naughty.

Zuri was very fast and carried Marty to the harbour. He slipped on a life jacket on Marty clumsily. Then he sat on a Jet Ski and pulled Marty onto it.

Marty slipped off the Jet Ski into the freezing water but Zuri was holding his hand and he also had a life jacket on and could get back on the Jet Ski safely. Zuri started the engine and zoomed away into the waters with Marty.

The police officer also sat on his Jet Ski and chased them, but he lost them in a cloud of smoke.
